Gen5 Pinion Gears Question

Is it possible to adjust the teeth on the pinion gears so that your speedo says 55mph, but you are actually covering more miles, or going going faster? in other words, a speedo reading indicating a slower speed than what the car is actually moving at. you would then add less mileage to the odo while traveling farther... is this possible? thanks dudes.

possible? yes. by yourself? probably not. the idea is that you need to recalibrate the speedo...
but why do you want to do that? honesty man....honesty..lol.

EDIT: what you can do by yourself is change the rolling wheel diameter...but still...why?

I think he's asking because he plans to get some wheels that are bigger in diameter than the stock size, and wants to recalibrate the speedo himself afterwards, rather than paying Toyota to do it...

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.
