Stock/Mod Questions on Rim/Tires

Hello All:

what is the weight of the 2005 stock 15x6.5 wheels? , and if and when you go higher on the rim size to 17" or 18" what is the cut off on the weight differential before you have to put on a new, better, stronger braking system? i know increases in rim/tire combined weight will also affect engine performance, as well as braking performace. i've got the handle on the tire plus sizing aspects and effects, etc... just trying to get a grip on the rim/wheel weight factor too. thanks mates.

I asked the same question when I got my rims. Having heavier rims is no different than say... having an extra person in the car. You don't get bigger brakes just because you've got 4 passengers in the car, do you?
