Looking for the best turbo solution, also have questions

I've been looking for turbo kits for my car, which has the 5S-FE engine. poweredbytoyota.com has a kit out for this engine, not sure if anybody here has it: http://www.poweredbytoyota.com/ssfeturbo.html

I thought this kit to be a little expensive, and was wondering if there are any other turbo solutions. I've noticed that some of you guys have fully custom setups, could some of you shed some light as to what you have and what you've done? And also, if I do put a turbo onto my engine, what needs to be replaced/tuned in order to handle the turbo?

Much thanks,
TJ

The Burien kit isn't worth it. You could put together your own kit for far less. I'd recommend you use the parts listed on the site as a model for what you'll need. Then you can go off other member's suggestions on what else you should get, such as intercooler, etc.

Yes, I was thinking of doing that, and then possibly running the CT-26 turbo from the MK3 Supras. I believe one of the members on the forums is running that setup, can't recall his forum name right now.

I think pretty much all the 5s-fte guys are using a ct-26.

Except for wraith. He's using some kind of big ass turbo.

So will some members tell me what parts they used with their turbo setup?
