USA Dumb V6 Camry Question?

I have a 2000 V6 Camry, I just did an oil and filter change and put 5 quarts of oil in it. I'm trying to remember if thats the right amount of oil? I can't make sense out of the capacitys listed in the owners manual. If 5 quarts is to much will that cause any problems? Thanks

I'm using synthetic oil which is light in color and is hard to makeout on the dipstick. It appears to be within the safe level but there is also above the safe level which I suspect may be from some residual oil left in the dipstick tube, I hope that is the case but I want to make sure.

wipe your dipstick after you pulled it out the first time, then put it back in to get a reading. if its on or a little bit above the top dot, its fine.

if 5quarts is roughly equal to 5ltrs its fine. it wouldn't hurt your engine if you put in an extra 300milli-liters.
