3rd Generation loose windshield?

theres always a whistling noise coming from my windshield when im driving... i thought it was that the windshield had been put back in wrong at one point in time but my last cam did it too? is there anything i can do to quiet it up or seal anything up that you guys know of before i try anything myself? also, who knows whats up with the 4 runner hood on the 3rd gen? does it fit right onw or is there fabbing needed? thanks

your seals are probably weak on the windshield. mine use to do the same thing when i had a 83 celica. but mine was from my stereo system, the bass pressure weakens the seals in cars. (do you have big stereo??). escpecially in car like camrys that are "quite rides." you might have to take it somewhere or reseal it your self. i think your best bet is to take it completley out and then reseal from scratch. doityourself isn't that hard. let me know if you want to pull it out and reseal yourself. of coursse there might me other alternatives though. maybe some one has abetter idea. its just a educated guess from experience.

yea dude i have 1 12 but its comp level with a cusotm box and all that shit... im just gonna take it in in a few weeks when i get the front window tinted. Thanks for the input man

yea if your pushin major bass get use to all of your seals getting weak nothing will break or anything. i shouldn't say weak but you know you will no longer have the same "quite ride" as before when you don't have your music up.

Also look toward your trim on the front of the windshield. Anything obstructing air flow in any way over the car will cause a noise at moderate to high speeds.
