I was browsing around eBay for gen 2 camry parts and I keep seeing these performance chips that connects to the intake air temp sensor or coolant temp sensor. I was just wondering if someone actually bought one of these and how do they perform. I'm thinking it's all bull, but I don't know.

its a BULLSH%@ i got 1 from a friend, and nope they dont do anything.......performancewise.

So you've actually tried one these!?? Everyone here says there crap but have they actually tried one!!!..not that i think it does much...but even if it did the SLIGHTLEST thing...id go down to the local electronics shop and buy a resistor for 10c and slap it in!!! hahaha

^ hahaha i got them for free....So i was like hmmm lets try them.

it doesnt improve the performance, but i think it takes in more petrol. So in another word you cant feel any power gain.

dude all you get is a wire with a chip about the size of your thumbnail... its literally bullshit man. "chips" for cars are pretty much bullshit in genereal. Its really replacing or altering your stock ECU.
