3rd Generation Damage to downpipe

Ok, I am guessing my last post got shut down becasue of the title so let me try again:

I was doing a U turn in a dark part of town and apparently they decided to install a curb there without my knowledge, so now the car sounds a lot louder especially when the engine is under stress, it almost rumbles. I am thinking I put a hole in my downpipe pipe or somewhere where it connects. It seems to be somewhere right under the engine. I have a 94 i4 btw.
I am wondering is this is something I should get repaired ASAP since I bet it will cost a ton. If I do I might as well get something aftermarket huh? Also how will this affect the cars power? If there is an exhaust leak would you say I am loosing 5? 10 %? BTW I should mention that the way I hit the curb it was just on the left side, my right side was fine so I probably turned 3 feet too early ,also it happened from a standstill.

I sugest you take a look there, it could be just a little hole
but then again it could be a big one, but speaking in general
you got: exhaust paste, exhaust bandage and you also got the exhaust clamp
that fix leaky pipes with big holes in them. You do lose a tiny winy bit of
power with a hole in your exhaust, but the effect loss is not an issue and you wont notice it.

You have more than likely damaged the flex pipe that connects the exhaust manifold to the rest of the exhaust system. It is a mesh pipe taht will break when you run over something like a curb as you say you did. Some of the people on here have said they have had it repaired at exhaust shops or you can replace the entire pipe.
