you can really hear the squeaky high pitch sound in the video but then about 10sec later (in the video) the noise stops abit (1-2sec) then starts again.
please help me if you know what's wrong my problem is? (timing belt?? or what?)
The very first thing I thought of when I read the title to this thread was a belt.
I am now almost positive that the noise you hear is the water pump. The bearing in the pump has gotten worn and is not running smoothly. I'd get it looked at.
I just had mine replaced along with the timing belt. (95,xxx)
Now I have a gaping hole in the side of my camry. The driver side headlight is obliterated. The hood bent up. The fender bent in. The front bumper cover nice and dented and broken.
Get a long screwdriver or prybar and start teh car. Put the end of the prybar or screwdriver to the a/c compressor and the alternator and the other end to your ear and see if you can pinpoin the noise.

I had a similar problem except the A/C would cut out after a while when it was under stress (say a long highway trip on a hot day). Ended up being the A/C compressor bearing in the pulley. They had to replace the whole compressor, cost me about 800 with the labor. Did I get ripped off?
I had a simular problem with my Gen 4 and all I did was tighten up the AC belt and it went away. The belts stretch a little bit over time, they should be replaced when you do the T-Belt. It shouldn't be the timing belt because it isn't running your AC. Next time it does it, turn off the AC and see if the noise goes away. If it does, your belt just needs to be tightened a little. Let me know if you need any help with how to do that it is very straightforward.
yea i have the same problem with my car too....when i turn on the A/C ...makes a high pitch noise and then it goes away...but the A/C still blows pretty cold
Yep, as I stated in my earlier post, the belts stretch a little over time, so they need to be tightened a little. It is not hard though. That is what I did, and it went away. Be careful not to overtighten as that will wear the belts very quickly.
