New 1mz shortblock *pics*

Hey guys, thought i'd show you my new gift to myself...
Its a brand new from toyota genuine parts shortblock 1st gen 1mz. includes the block, crankshaft, pistons and rods. i managed to locate this on ebay and then looking up a toyota part # to see what it fit... it was so unclearly marked that nobody would know what the hell it was unless they knew already. Anyways, the auction ended at 250 bucks with 245 shipping cost. so in short, its 500 bucks for a 2500 dollar toyota factory part.

i bought it as a sort of intermediate step between stock motor and built motor. i plan to use this brand new block on the turboed car with ported heads and intake and a metal head gasket and that should be good for my intermediate goals before i go for a fully built block and engine management. fow now i am just going to leave it boxed up so the air doesnt get to it too much, then i will put it in over the winter sometime...
