Gen5 LE Handling Improvement Project

Guys reading through the threads and searching I came up with a conclusion that adding a TRD or Whiteline Rear Sway bar will improve my 03 LE handling significantly without doing anything to the suspension.

I am completely new to this Sway bar stuff. Thus I have few questions about it.
  1. Is there such a thing as a front sway bar for our camrys? Do we need it?
  2. Does front Strut tower brace help?
  3. Where to buy TRD or Whiteline Sway bars and front strut brace?
  4. What should I expect to pay?
  5. Do they come with install instructions, if not where can I find them?
  6. I do not intend to do anything with my suspension, would that matter?
As always thanks for you help. I have searched for answers so if I missed something that I should have pulled up in search, my bad.

Yes, there is one from the factory.

Does front Strut tower brace help?
I dont have one but yes it jsut keeps everything moving in the same direction when the car is cornering

Where to buy TRD or Whiteline Sway bars and fron strut brace?
www.trdusa.com www.ebay.com

What should I expect to pay?
Have no idea

Do they come with install instructions, if not where can I find them?
They should and if they dont it is pretty simple to figure out Think there is even a DIY posted in a thread somewhere on here

I do not intend to do anything with my suspension, would that matter?
You dont ahve to but it iwll imorove it more if you do. Start small and see waht you think then go from there.

I have been quoted: $172 plus tax for rear TRD Sway bar and $183 plus tax for Front Strut Brace at local dealership. Is that a good price?

hey NSCAMRY, i recently got my TRD sway from the dealer...i am in toronto, canada and i got it for less than $200 after taxes. i think their costs was about $130CDN, but i would imagine that it would be cheaper for you. talk to them and see what they can do for you in terms of price.
