When I was working for a Toyota Dealership in the mid 90's we had a regualr customer witha Gen 1 taht had over 330k miles on it. IT looked brand new. HE took extremely goodcare of the car and always had normal maintenance done at or before schedule. That is one of the only high mileage cars that we would work on a regualr basis because he was a regualr customer.
We had some one trade one it at the dealership I was selling at recenlty and it had 273k miles on it or so.

PLEASE DO NOT GET RID OF THE OLD TN AS WE KNOW IT.
My old '90 had 267k miles on it when I crashed it. My current '90 has over 320k miles on it.... still going just fine with the turbo (soon to be a new motor though...)

damn!!!!
330k? pretty impressive. why would a dealership take in a camry with 273k miles on it?
That Question Also Confuses Me. What The Hell Would A Dealership Want With A 273k Mile Camry? Neways My Grandma Sold Her Carrola 10 Years Back And It Had 250k Miles On It And We Recently Saw It Running On The Road Still. We Were Surprised.
'94 with 234,500 miles creepin' up on you!! My secret??: 10,000 mile oil changes and either Mobil 1 or Amsoil. Havn't set the valve clearance even once yet!!
^ I doubt it!...unless the motor was rebuilt multiple times!!! Imagine the amount of driving u'd have to do to clock up a million miles in only 16 years!!

well let's calculate it. if a toyota had 1,000,000 miles on it: w/ it being 16 yrs old
every year: put 62,500 every year
roughly every month: put 5300 miles
every day: 171 miles
PERSONALLY, I WOULD DIE DRIVING THAT MUCH!
To quote the Guinness Book of World Records 2005 edition:
"Highest Car Mileage--A 1966 Volvo P-1800S owned by Irvin Gordon (USA) has covered IN EXCESS of 2,219,751 miles (3,572,342 KM) by March 2004. The car is still be driven on a daily basis and covers more than 100,000 miles (160,000 KM) per year, thanks in part to being driven to numerous events in Europe and USA."
That would be overkill for me.
