Camry CoilOvers

I called up some friends at a racing shop and they said Corolla Coilover's would fit on a 92-96 Camry. I own a 95 Camry (Manual) and i was wondering if anyone knows if the corolla and camry suspension matches up? If they do, would rolling on coilover's give you a good ride? I mean would it be like too bouncy or noisy, stuff like that...
Much thanks.

coilovers aren't always a good idea....you've gotta look at the quality before you get them....get some cheap stuff, and the ride'll be shit....probably look damn nice when parked, but that's about it....you'll be rolling into all your corners.... :

and I don't know too much about coilovers.....but the corolla and camry have fairly different suspensions...with one of the reasons being because the camry weighs so much more than the corollas...so I'm pretty sure that the coilovers won't work for the camry....

but ask around and try to verify before you drop a couple of grand on your coilovers....

good luck 8)

even if it is the same size coil, i doubt that the spring will last too long, you're camry's got a good 800 lbs at least on the corolla (i dont knwo the actual weight)

if you load up your car with a few friends and gear for a weekend you'll probably overstress the springs and cause metal fatigue and then you're back to square 1
