I bought a haynes manual and it does not show how to take out the rear covers,

I did a search in google groups and found few postings mentioning that one has take off the entire cover to reach the speaker.

has anyone done this before? pls share the steps

what size is the speaker back there?

I have a 90 camry wagon v6

2nd Generation

I believe that they are held with clips.

I'll check my factory manual and see.

Right now, I'm in the middle of working on my daily driver, so I'll post back later.

Clips a plenty of course. Be careful too, that plastic tends to get super brittle. It wound up taking me nearly 4 hours to remove it all without breaking anything, only to have my friend slam the hatch and bust the taillight assembly and backing.. grrr. If it's not too cold this week I'll take a few pictures of it all. But it's been stupid cold.
