Moans and Groans...

Hello all,

Thanks to the help here I was able to replace the CV half shaft on '87 Camry. No more popping when turning but have other issues I would sure like help with.

When first starting in the morning, any bump I hit causes a sound on both sides of the front end what I call a moan and groan. I've pushed down on all four corners thinking bad struts but only sound is like a shock compressing. Cannot reproduce the moan and groan.

Any ideas where to start looking? Bad bushings?

Sincerely appreciate any direction!

Safety & blue skies,

DJ

Lightbulb Moan a Leisa...

Being an 87 mod I bet nearly ALL the rubber bushes have DRIED out or are WORN out !

At the ends of the front sway bar are rubber and metal bushes, also under the front
struts and inwards as well are pressed bushes too...

Swaybar is easy , others are a tiny pain and will need to be pressed out on a hydraulic press.
