It's those cheapo oil pressure gauge senders, they are not very lasting. Invest in a good quality oil pressure gauge like DEFI. You get what you pay for.
the brand thats in there is faze. its not a cheap brand by any means. i really want to try and get it working because i have my turbo kit on the way. its not a mechanical gauge, its an electrical that i tapped into the pressure tap on the motor.

where is the oil pressure that u tapped into... i was thinking about getting an oil pressure guage but i don't know where to tap into
Use the orignal oil pressure switch location on the front of the block and use a t-adaptor to still use the switch and have the oil pressure snesor in there aswell. Then run the electrical or mechanical connection into the cabin.

Most guage senders work on earth resistance so if the wire you ran to the guage
is rubbing on the hole trough the firewall it will be earthing and making the guage
shoot up to it's highest reading !

Sender that comes with the gauge is most likely 1/8" NPT.
So your going to need the right fittings, adapters, etc...
True, it is easier said than done...but here...we have Autometer guages...and if u take in the original sender to the shop, they will match up and adaptor to suit no probs...just a matter of screwing it all together.
