This morning i Installed my tail lights that i Tinted with VHT Nightshades and a hairdryer. I also went and De-Badged the car. What do you guys think?
in person i love it!!! its so sleek looking now. im thinkin about continuing the theme with some black rims with chrome lip, and semi-smoked headlights. My 4 side windows are tinted 20% so they are dark like the Tail Lights. Im planning on doing the rear window in spring.
***EDIT: Dont tell me about the chain plate frame.......I CANNOT GET IT OFF!!!!!!! ITS RUSTED ON THERE SO DONT TELL ME ABOUT IT.

Looking better than before. I'd still A)Lose the license plate frame, B)Tint the rear window to match the rest C)remove the stickers off the rear window (anyone who cares knows its a Toyota by its emblem and that there's nothing on your car from West Coast Choppers D)get yourself a black pearl emblem kit to replace your existing silver T emblems. Otherwise good progress. Jon.
A) I cant remove the chain plate frame.... i already mentioned it... B) Tinting the window in spring C) I removed the toyota Sticker on the window after takign the picture D) Thanks for the comments

I have been driving around today and havent been pulled over yet, I dont belive they are illegal because As long as they show the light when u press the brake i dont think it matters. I see alot of Camaro's and other cars with smoked headlights/taillights so im not too worried.
Looks great!! And don't listen to JMSinMD, keep it shaved and clean in the back.. no black pearl. Thats what I did. Sick ass tails, man. I would darken mine a little, but the stock red matches well with my car, so I'm keeping it stock back there.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.
Im not saying to replace all the emblems with black pearl emblems, just the T emblem that you are keeping. If you are doing black/silver rims have the rest of the car match the same theme. Jon.
Meh... I don't think that it really flows well with a stock car.
the car isnt gonna be stock much longer
And i talked to a few cops, Some said they wouldnt care about them being black like that, and some say they would pull me over, escpecially State Troopers with nothing to do.
They show plenty of Red light even during the day, but i guess they always have to red looking
My freinds say leave them on and plead ignorance if a cop pulls me over what do you guys suggest...take em off and sell em, or keep em on and take my chances?
