Random Studdering...
Hey everyone, I have a problem that cant seem to know where to start checking. Well, i got a 98 camry V6, first off, and the car drives perfectly. But after driving for a while the car turns into "sputtering" mode all of a sudden. Idle seems to be ok but the car has a lot less power starting off, say from a stop sign. It also makes a sputtering noise taking off. It usually occurs driving in the city with a lot of stop and go. Giving it more gas doesnt solve the problem also. Its hard to isolate the problem since it doesnt happen often. The funny thing is that when I pull over, turn off the car, and start it back up, its fine again. This is what Ive changed...
-spark plugs and wires
-idle air valve
-bled coolant
-fuel filter not long ago
-and basically all the tune up stuff
Does anyone have any idea or experienced anything similar to this? Thanks for the help.
