Unhappy Here's a head scratcher.

So i've posted earlier about this, but now I'm just clueless. I have replaced the rear springs, rear struts, and checked the rear swaybar bushing. After getting new springs, new struts, New Strut Mounts and making sure that all swaybar bushings are fine, the right driver side of the camry still sags and it clunks going over bumps, I made sure it wasn't the springs, because I had the dealer replace the rear driver side becuz I thought i may have been defective. Still no difference, still sags and clunks. I thought the spring may have came unseated, check that out and it was fine. I'm outta ideas. I'm just scratching my head now.

i think those clunking sound are normal. i get the clunking noise too sometimes. thers not much you can do about it. I put some sound deadener sheet inside the fender and it helps abit with the sound.

yea, but my tire hits the fender when I have the rims on... maybe my rims are just too wide? But there isn't a reason why only my driver side would do that though.

230lbs, I know it's normal for the right side to be high than the driver's side a little, but there's almost like a 1 diff. Plus the drivers side clunks and the pass. side doesn't.

ok asian, get a ruler and start measuring stuff, like ride height, spring installed length, how much does each corner of the car go down when you put your fat ass on the fender, does each corner bounce about the same distance when you push it down and hop off it, this kind of stuff

3rd Generation

Maybe it'll just end up being something I'll figure out next spring, I don't drive the car now since winter is around the corner, I'll just let her sleep she's tired. Hopefully I'll get around to rebuildin' her this year.

I have 225-40-18, but it's actually the outer edge of the tire that scrapes, not the top of it.

Is the clunking coming from the front or back? Mine is doing it now from the front and I believe its the driver side sway bar bushing. Only problem is I am having trouble trying to find replacements sinse they go thru the control arm. Anybody know where I can get them? Haven't tried dealership yet.
