Who has a body kit and a 2" drop.

I am on the verge of buying a bodykit but am really nervous about how low it will be. Does anyone know who has dropped their camry and has a bodykit on it? Names and pictures will be great. The one person I know that has this says it was scrapping a lot but admitted his tires were kinda small.

thanks

gen 3, 1.5" drop, rmm front lip, erebuni sideskirts, and razzi rear lip

225/40/18

if you drive carefully, you won't scrape much at all...it just takes a bit of getting used to
if anything, it's the parallel parking that's tough....

and speed bumps are your worst enemies

any drop on a camry = slow driving. camrys are already low in their standard ride height... this is one of many contributing factors on why its so quick around corners even though its so floaty and boats everywere.

the sidelines/body of the car is much higher then the chassis, unlike many other cars. most bodykits will drop down a little bit lower then the chassis ails themselves. go unde ryour car and see what your clearance is like.

also remember overhands front and rear is what hits the most if youre stupid.

Gen5 My bumps and scrapes.

I have the OEM body kit on my Gen 5.5 with the 1.6" drop front and rear. Slow driving over speed bumps, angled approach to steep inclines, and additional wood ramps to get on and off lift racks to avoid catching the front lip. Dealer already had to replace the fronts when I got an alignment after I dropped it and they broke it backing off the alignment rack. I also scrape the muffler backing out of my driveway with my family loaded. Have hit the brakes hard quite a few times on unfamiliar roads when coming up to unexpected dips. I'm also running the stock 17" tires on aftermarket rims. I'd still buy the same car with the body kit and lower it though.
