Well, my car won't run. While trying to change the rear spark plugs, I decided that it'd be a good idea to take off the intake plenum. Well come to find out that the plenum is bolted to the EGR pipe, and I didn't feel like messing with that. So I put everything back together...or so I thought. Now the car starts, revs up real high, then slowly makes it's way down to the point where it dies. So what have I done? Mixed up a couple vacuum lines maybe? I have a 1mz by the way.
Did you remove hoses from the vacuum switch valve while removing intake? If you mix those up, it can cause that. Also, if you removed the MAF sensor, it'll do it too. Try resetting your ECU.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.
sounds like you got some vacuum hoses crossed. Did you actually pull the intake plenum off then decide to stop part way through it. Possibly you ahve damaged the intake gasket and that is causing a vaccum leak.

I did a reset before I started the car. And yeah, I removed the hoses from several VSVs, but nothing got mixed up. I was almost positive that everything was where it needed to be...but apparently not. I'm going to go take a look at it with a flashlight and see if I can figure out what's wrong, because this is really bugging me.
LOL. Well, for starters, the line to the VSV by the throttle body was disconnected. Not only that, buy also the brake booster line and some other hose on the backside of the motor, not sure what it does. But anyway that explains why it was dying. Stupid me.
