Wow, it looks just like a cell phone ! Which is it in the pic ?

I thought that there was a tutorial on how to swap it. I've already done the EGR so I'm sure
I can figure it out.

thanks

Any idea what they cost ?

what year bob? 92-93 or 94+

call autozone, they will have to order the part. its like 160 for 92-93 3vz motor, or 170-180 for 1mz egr valve. then you should get a couple gaskets too.

why do you need to replace yours? how do you know its bad?

It's a '96...

Not positive it's bad, but just replaced the EGR and sounds like this is the next likely
candidate.

yes, I already replaced the EGR valve. I'm getting a code

of P0401 and 402 I think. "EGR flow restricted" and the other is "exessive". I have assumed that the EGR VSV is the likely cause of the code if it's not the EGR valve itself.

thanks

maybe stupid question... did you reset the ecu after you did the egr valve?

also, if you knew where the egr valve was, how come you couldnt figure out what vsv was associated with it?

EGR VSV is right next to the EGR valve.
