4th Generation worse gas mileage

Ya so about a week and half ago I changed out my thermostat on my 98 camry, 4c ylinder. Well, today I filled up and only got about 18 mpg for about 182 miles of driving. Does that seem right.
I really don't have a heavy foot or anything.

did you replace the thermostat with the right temp range?? the wrong thermostat can cause your car to run too hot or cold, which will effect mileage.

yea i drive ALL stop and go city and i only get ~200-220 mpt on my gen 3(~18.5ga tank).. i think that equates to ~15mpg which i think its horrific. but i believe on some of my longer highway trips i have been able to get ~400 out of a tank.
