Attn: Soundlzrd (regarding Camry suspension parts)

Hey, I'm not sure if you've heard of me before but I'm the one with the hooked-up gen 2. Camry from TeamSC³. Anyways, I was wondering if you would have both the Intrax springs for the 87-91 Camry's as well as the 92-96 Intrax springs in stock. If you happen to have them in stock, I was wondering if you could do me a favor and compare both sets of springs (92-96 i4 as well as 92-96 V6). I've heard from numerous sources that the suspension for both the gen. 2 and gen. 3 Camry's have identical suspensions (with spring rate taken into consideration). What strengthened the theory is the fact that the Intrax Camber Kits are the exact same kits for 87-96. If you could, please look into this possibility as having identical suspensions could open a new world for us Gen. 2 Camry owners, especially the V6 2vz-fe owners, who have no springs available to them.

If the suspensions are the same or nearly the same, I might be able to run JIC Magic coilovers....

Someone I know from HP Racing owns a gen. 2 Camry in Miami making roughly 275 fwhp and he's currently experimenting with some suspension set-ups and he's run into the possiblity that st165/st185 Celicas also use the same suspension. Toyota might have gotten lazy and used the same basic suspension set-up for a majority of the Toyota mid-sized/compact cars.

You can use the Intrax springs on the 2VZ-FE. Some on the camryman.org board has done it. You might get some tire rub with 215's tires.

Apex North America claims their 3rd gen springs fit the 2VZ's also, it was something I was going to verify myself...but ended up getting a new car instead.

I am currently using the Intrax springs on the 2vz and trust me, it's very unforgiving. It's basically like riding on cut springs. And tire rub with 215 tires? I am running 225's and sitting much lower than a 1.5 inch drop that would have been for the i4 Camry's. All you have to do is run the correct offset.

Yes i know who you are. I dont have both in stock. I dont know if they will fit or not. I didnt think JIC had any coil overs for the gen3s anyway.

I tried for a sponsorship for JIC and they told me that they would love to but they don't want a car that is a non supported vehicle "showing off their stuff". He said that he could send me to a place that can give them to me but no sponsorship price.
