First 100+ Miles Drive Report with New TRD FSB & RSB

I love my TRD FSB and TRD RSB. It feels like a completely different car. It could be in my mind but it feels engine is raving better, brakes are working better and the acceleration is better, may be because the car is tight now. Than again I agree that it could be just in my brains. FSB and RSB job being to handle car better, its doing its job like a dream, car is so stable now at 80, 90 speeds on highway, before at those speeds I really had to hang on to the steering very dearly. The car use to seesaw a lot sideways. All that is gone thanks to FSB. Obviously turning and pushing the gas is so much fun when the family is not in the car. And when I am with family I am not busy handling the car rather than enjoying the drive with the family. All you guys out there, if you want to improve the handling of your car this is the first mod you should do. Just FYI I have done nothing to my shocks and don’t intend to do anything as I don’t want to loose the comfy ride. I have 215/60/16 Kumho tires (Not the best tire you can buy) with Borbet Rims, that is an upgrade for LE since LEs come with 15” steel rims and tires.

Good work, swaybars seem to be expanding on TN this past little while, but it could be just me. And as for all the improvements being in your head, it probably doesn't really matter. As long as you think it handles better, you'll probably drive better. Even so, I assume they actually do something. But congrats on the upgrade.

I think the rear sway bar is responsible for most of the difference you feel. I have the TRD front strut tower bar on my Gen 4.5 Camry and it made very minimal difference. Mostly it stopped some tire chirping on some fast turns and marginally improved understeer. My suspension is stock other than the TRD strut bar. I also have 17s with 215/50/17 tires.

the revving monster power etc is all in your head buddy...

the control is much better.. that swaybar helps reduce the roll and gives u much better cornering..

now struts/springs are perfect for ya.

I don't say there is more power. The engine feels better and acceleration feels better due to car being tight. Handling difference is due to RSB and the tight car feel along with less vibration is due to FSB. While I agree 100% that a FSB alone would do nothing significant to improve the car, I think buying FSB along with RSB was the best decision I made.
