Has ANYONE heard of this TURBO KIT???

I came across this site from one the posts:
http://www.poweredbytoyota.com/ssfeturbo.html

Has anyone used them?

Is their turbo kit any good and easy to install?

Let me know your experience with Powered by Toyota?

Thanks!

Yes, it was an old and apparently shitty kit. Custom do yours. You can easily put higher grade components and get the HP you need

Thanks for the info. I wish there was a really good kit for the camry because I am a little leary about taking on this project. So many things to consider and so many things that could go wrong. The sticky about turboing your ride is so long and complicated, parts are hard to find and/or expensive and so many people have started this project just to give up.

Are you really having that much trouble? I found all the info fine. Amazing Nate's write up is very in depth and is a little too detailed for someone who doesn't know too much about cars. All you need to do is sit down with a friend who knows this stuff and have him explain this stuff to you, that's what I've been doing this past month. I've learned so much I must've been a complete n00b 2 months back. The parts really arent that hard to find. Depends how much you also want to get out of your turbo. Personally, I'm going to go all out, so I started with getting the forged internals and I am going to go through with buying the camshafts still (since I had it checked out by my friend who owns an import shop).

You're going to want to change the transmission to a 5speed manual V6 ones from a Camry

if you want to be able to handle more power (and it's stronger)
As far as finding all the parts, start by looking at the manufacturers sites since they'll probably have them the cheapest. It also takes searching in here
