in dash stereo install

I was just wanting to make sure that the plastic dash pieces around the stereo just pop off or if any one has any info on how to disassemble the stuff let me know

pry bottom plastic part that is molded with the cigarete lighter with a very thin screw driver.That should do it. oh you need a philips screw driver to remove the stock stereo

I got my indash in the only thing that sucks is when the screen is up you cant control the climate controls but oh well......thanks for the info!!

paul, did you try mounting the unit under the pocket to see if that gave you some extra space?.....ie, reversing the din positions?
