Help, I am changing timing belt,

I am almost done, but two questions:

1. How to tighten the crankshaft bolt? I used starter to loose it, but
now I need to the reverse to tighten it.

2. The pivot bolt of PS pump does not seem to be able to be tightened, it is
always loose no matter how much I turned it. Do I need wrench
to hold something on the back?

I got 96 Camry V6.

Thanks,

-SZ

When I changed mine on my gen 3 2.2l, I unbolted the cover where the engine meets the tranny, pried it open about an inch, I then wedged a long screwdriver into the flywheel and tightened the Crankshaft bolt. I don't know if this is the best way to do it but it worked. On the PS pump, I had to reach in back with a small wrench and hold the bolt on the other side to get the ps pivor point bolt tight.

Thanks! I did exactly the same as you did.

Everything works like charm. It took me 7-8 hours to do the timing
belt. This is my first time and it is my learning process, I guess.
