So im interested in putting in a white backing for my guages but have heard alot of shit about messing up the needles if its done wrong or if u take the neeedles out. Im just currious if someone can possible explain this in a little more detail and why would u have to calibrate the needles if you take them out?

dont need ot take needs off for most gauges as the cut out is big enough for the round swiivel bit of the needle.

when u install somes times the gauges arent fully flat when you put them on so when the needles move they get stuck or wont even move at times thats why people think they are borken you might wanna use a small amount of super glue to make them flat but becareful where you put the super glue because u might put it in a place where lights is supposedto show through therefore blocking that light making the gauges look nasty
See.....its not a "sticker I want to put on...this is what I want to put on...and this plugs in and would require, by the looks of it, to remove the needles

I believe you that its possible becasue it says it does NOT require the needles removed...but how do you do that..I mean its solid, any help how to get that to replace current guage?
That and is the process easy or is it something I should pay someone to do it that knows what they are doing?

To get the gauge face, new, over the old gauges, just put the needle end through the big center hole. Keep slipping it down the needle until it goes around the swivel. That's how you get it on. Then, to keep it on, you can use some 3m tape or do what I did, Krazy Glue the mother f*ckers!!!
youre not building a house.. you chouldnt even work that out yaself?
