3VZ-FE airbox mod question

How many people here have modified their 92-93 V6 Camry for different options.
I remember Mysticking (or something like that) and had boat loads of issues and Toys but anyone else?

I am thinking of keeping stock box but modding from that part into the bumper. Looking for feedback. Thanks.

buy a $10 AFM adapter off ebay (Comes with a filter)

& either run it as a short ram as-is, or ditch the stock intake silencer/resonator

& run some 3" pipe into the fender.

Just don't expect anything, but a good sound from either. (Go advance the timing & lean the AFM cog if you have not)

Mine is still stock :P
IMHO I think leaning out the a/f ratio would work better in the end than a new intake.
