When I drive past a certain speed (about 55mph+ or so, especially on the freeway), I start to get a rattle from up front in the dash. At first, it sounds like its coming from the vents, but I'm not sure. I looked through the descriptions of the TSBs for the 2002 Camry's on infotraxx.com (I didn't buy a membership, so I can't view the entire TSB), the only one that looked relevant was NV002-02, which is described as a heat-shield rattle. Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone know how to fix it? And can anyone with access to TSBs tell me what it is?

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

Brake lights aren't broken, I just don't brake.

Word I have a little rattle in my car also. it got worse when I put low profile tires on, but it was always there. Even after I had an alignment and tires balanced. Also for some reason in the cold I get a squeak in the back; I don't know if its the back window or what but I only hear it when the road is a little rough! Its not that bad for me so I don't really worry about it.
Until you can isolate where the noise is coming from a TSB wont do you any good because you won't know if it is pertinent to your problem. Just keep trying to isolate it the best that you can.

No, nothing. This has been happening for quite a while now, I just never really paid much attention to it. Or rather... blocked it out.
But ok, I'll try and isolate it as best as I can. However, it SOUNDS like its coming from the vents... as though as the wind passes by, the force of the wind opens and closes the vents repeatedly, but no air actually gets through unless I don't circulate the air.

Yes I get a similar rattle from my dash as well. Somewhere between the ignition key and the center vent. Could never figure it out. Now I have learned to live with it.
i have no clue except the rattling my sub makes with the sunglasses holder thing up top........and then there's that whistling noise i can't figure out =?

Um well vibrations and road noise increase but its worth it. Better handeling and =wheels look better too.
^Well, for me, I actually got less road noise and fewer vibrations after I got low pro's. But thats because before I got the car, my dad through on a set of Goodyear Integrity's on the steelies that were there before, and they were garbage

I have a rattle that comes and goes in my 04 Camry. It's directly under the radio, where the bottom of the radio meets the dash. I know that this is the spot because if I sqeeze the radio and the dashboard together at that spot the rattle goes away. Unfortunately, I put 450 miles on the Camry over Thankgiving and heard the damned rattle for around 300 of those miles.
I know the answer is to yank the radio and tape up whatever's underneath there, but I hate to admit it, but I'm a total friggin' wimp when it comes to that stuff. Will the radio pop out if I just pull hard enough on it? And then can I just push it back in?
