wilwood brake kit

I just dont understand where the problem lies with putting a big brake kit on a camry as long as the bolt patter is the same, like this for example

also brake master cylinder also needs ot be able to provide enough power.

more "brake" more master cylinder requires.. and thats where all the money is needed.

caliper mounting is the easy part... making sure the disc clears all hub clearnacne isnt too hard either.

getting it to look right is easy...getting it to WORK right is something different altogether.

The location of our rotors in relation to the hub is the real problem. It is almost impossble to find a wheel that would let you fit any opposed piton caliper behind it on our cars. Look at the specs for the width on those things, and then measure you car. Most wheels need something around a 1" spacer to make them work.

normal 17" or 18" wheels will fit bigger brake kits fine.

its all the 'fake dish' wheels (the ones with ANY form of LIP and offsets of 40+) that wont fit because they pull the spokes back toward the center at the outer edges.

Most normal wheels will work with big brakes, but not on a camry. The caliper needs to sit too close to the hub. Offset doesn't affect it, it's just the style of the wheels.
