whats the deal with the 00-02 or so 4 runner hoods matching 3rd gen cam's? how hard is it to be done? get me the low down if any of you know, thanks

are you referring to that black camry? because that is a gen3 hood with a 4runner scoop molded on.

yea its that black one. i wasnt sure if some trimming was done to the 4 runner hood then put on or if the scoop was molded on. Its a clean job... does anyone know the dude whos car that is?

don't think he's on the site...

but I would think pretty much, he chopped the hood off a 4runner, welded it onto the his hood, and then ground it down smooth

probably not weld, i bet he bonbo'd it. So many body shops are starting to use bondo's because they are holding up better and more reliable than welding... no joke lol. Im gonna look into doing that though.
