someone on CMPL posted these instructions from the kit that you always see on eBay (no pics though). i haven't done this myself (or plan to)... but if i recall, there's someone here on TN that did this to his Corolla. he may have more input on this project.

folding trunk lid
Copyright 2002 All rights reserved* This job requires drilling and should be done with much precaution to prevent injuries and or damage to the vehicle.
Step 1: To begin, open your trunk and mark the placement of the top of each stock trunk
brackets (2 long piece of metal that allow the trunk to open and close)

L Step 2: Once that's done, remove the four bolts that hold your trunk to those brackets. You should now be able to take off your trunk lid completely.

Sten 3: Take the hinges included in the package, the ones with the flat sides and attach them to your trunk lid. Make sure that the bottom of the hinge is facing down.

Step 4: Mark the holes (from the curved hinges) on the stock brackets. Once that's done, drill all the necessary holes. Now reinstall the trunk lid to the stock brackets using the curved hinges included in the package.
didn't the sport neons come stock w/ dual exhaust? cuz they've got the muffler sideways with the pipes on each end? just without the tips shown there....
