What is a good green non silicate formula of AF to use? I have heard that Shell Zone is used at the dealership. What do you guys use?

I don't get this Toyota "RED" or "green" stuff you guys mentioned.

I don't know much about Toyota Coolant. Could someone please enlighten me on this coolant color thing?

I need some coolant for my 98 cam and was just gonna go to autozone and just pick up some Prestone coolant. What's this Toyota Red and green stuff?

Toyota has a red and pink coolant. The pink is suppose to be backwards compatible, but since they are not forcing me to use it, i will stick with the red. Do not miz brands. Esp something like Toyota Red and prestone. It will cause stuff to preceiptate out.

^^ Yes.

Red is pure coolant and you have to mix it.

Pink is the long life and already 50/50.

peak and prestone does NOT have any nitrites or phosphates,
store brands usually do.

I am going to use peak in my 90 wagon after I flush the system with distilled water and some superclean.

you cannot go wrong if you go to a dealer and ask the parts department for collant for your specific car.
