4th Generation Rear Suspension question

Need some help fellas. Im tryin to find out what is the easiest way to get to the rear upper strut mount. What would have to be removed? Need some help before i start guys

Pull the bottom part of the seat (just pull off the 2 clips, located underneath RED ARROWS).

Then unbolt the nuts (1 on each side) on the outerpart of the back seat (BLUE ARROWS), once the nut is off, just push it up.


then you'll see the strut mount

thanks for the help guys, one more question tho. What is the easiest way to get the rear tray out. How many bolts and or clips are there to remove?

I did not remove my rear deck lid when I lowered my gen 4. I just push the deck lid up a bit where the strut mount was and loosened them with a socket wrench.

the struts are not in the tray they are behind the part circled in red in the above pic.

You do not need to take the tray out to get to the struts and change shocks/springs. It is easy to get to when you take the part circled in red off.

you dont need to take out the rear speakers tray to take out the struts.

just the outer seats (circled in red in the pic above)
