Scheduled Maintenance Guide

This is a guide I have compiled after speaking to numerous mechanics, service advisors, etc.

This also takes into account using regular fluids (i.e. not synthetics). I will also list the best prices (parts & labor) I have found for these services, though a lot of places offer packages (for oil change (oc), rotation and balance (rb) and check alignment (ca). These prices I have quoted for everything but the aforementiond oc, rb, and ca are from Toyota dealerships.

(3,000 miles) Oil Change ($13)

(6,000 miles) Rotate and Balance ($20)

(12,000 miles) Check Alignment ($50) and Change Air Filter ($15)

(30,000 miles) Engine Coolant Flush ($114), Automatic Transmission Fluid Flush and Differential Fluid Flush ($121) and Brake Fluid Flush ($100)

(60,000 miles) Power Steering Fluid Flush ($70), Tune Up-V6 ($60), Fuel Filter and PCV Valve ($148)

(90,000 miles) Thermostat, Timing Belt, Water Pump and Drive Belts ($470)

Also remember to check around for prices. If you visit most Toyota dealerships websites they have service specials that you can print up. Some dealerships (such as the one I go to) let's you print up a few coupons and they will honor other Toyota dealership prices. BTW for those with manual transmissions the only thing that changes is at 30k rather than ATF and DF Flush you get a Transmission Oil and Clutch Fluid Flush ($83). Jon.

P.s. please feel free to make this a sticky because I am NOT typing all this again
