Should be avalable by january
Just to let you guys know I"m Will, Ripp is working with my camry as we speak and i'll be home next week, to pick it up.
Before you do anything with you car shaun just wait and see how the dyno turns out.
this was posted on TN before it was on CMPL... you should be able to use the Search function for more details. "soundlzrd" seems to know more info too as he's been conversing with them.
:o it actally looks like a massive turbo... interesting.. but ya it is belt driven so... hopefully they will make it look a bit nicer, but if it ends up making power, I will be very interested into getting one :P

centrifugal SC.. you're prolly used to seeing roots-type blowers like the trd supercharger for the 1mz
one of the guys working on development posts on teamsc3's forums too...
']['R][) camry...do you have any specs on this S/C for the I4? Like HP, torque, price, mods that need to be done to fit properly? etc. e-mail me when you get your car back with any pics or info you may have on this S/C? rpj1984@bellsouth.net thanks
ryan
That s/c is just a mock up, it doesn't actually work. Ross was just tying to put something together before he finalized the parts. The kit will retail between 3 and 4 grand and should add close to 100 hp at the wheels. All issues like fuel and timing will be addressed before the kit hits the market. It will come with everything you need to put it in and tune in. A dyno tuned fuel chart will be added so you don't have to use time on the dyno to get it running right.

Sean thanks for the info and clarrification on the S/C..i wasnt sure what was really going on with the project but know i am excited to see the results when the Camry will be finished :o ..let me know if you get any more info on this. Thanks
ryan
If you have any questions let me know. There are alot of critics over on sc3, but can you blame them? They have more unforfilled promisses than i have friends. I am excited to see the finished product and hopefully get this kit for all applications. We just need the green(cash)
And Sean i was wondering what your opinion was on the the advantages or which was better between the S/C or the i4 turbo kit that is out? Which one would you prefer..the web site if you hadnt seen the turbo is http://www.poweredbytoyota.com/ssfeturbo.html thanks

just because the stock engine doesnt put out that much power doesnt mean you cant double, even triple it. its a matter of how much air & gas get in the engine at one time. the s/c compresses the air which, the ECU recognizes and compensates w/ more fuel MEANING... more power.
you cant just add power to one part of the engine either, you have to build up the transmission. once everything is capable of holding more power, then its fine.
