hard shifting
I have a 91 camry that shifts real hard when going from park to drive or reverse. The engine also moves quite a bit and the exhaust makes a roaring inside the car like there is a metal to metal contact somewhere.
I have replaced the back two transmission mounts and i am thinking about replacing the other three motor mounts.
Does this sound like i'm on the right track?
The only other thing i can think of is an internal transmission problem but the tranny was rebuilt about 60,000 mi ago. the car has 140,000 mi.
