4th Generation engine code

My check engine light came on tonight so I went down to checkers and used their diagonisc tool and it came up with the code P1780. What code is that??
I have a 98 4cyl, automatic camry

I would think you will need to replace the switch before it goes out and causes your car not to start at all. It is a safety switch so your car has to be in Park or Neutral before it will turn over.

Check the connector and the cable. The cable may be loose or stretched and causing a false reading. It's supposed to be checked periodically and adjusted.
