300 dollar headlight retrofit +extra good deal? (PICS)
Guys as many of you know, i like 2 mess around with my headlights. I just talked to a guy that is willing to sell me a set of projectors (real thing last ones i had were 30 dollar projectors) these come from an e46 bmw, pair of chrome shrouds, ballasts, and the bulbs. We agrreed i would pick them up for 300 bucks in LA. like 10-20 miles away from me. Wacha think.
Well see i did my own research on ebay, and if i buy all 4 parts (bulbs, shrouds, projectors, ballasts) from diffesrent people, it would come out even higher, BUT i am not sure about 3 hundred. Thats my paycheck of 2 weeks man! lol, but see id be l33t with those, it would look sick. For all ya hatas i might do it! hahaha
Brand new Bosch E46 projectors w/ GenIII Hella Ballasts +weatherproof covers (which are really nice btw) & Philips bulbs for $380 on hidplanet (sold out as I'm typing this). You'd just have to get some E46 shrouds, which usually run around $75/pair on eBay. Or you could custom your own shrouds like me for $5. So if I were you, I'd go for the $300 deal. At worst you could probably sell it back on eBay for more, assuming all parts are in working order.

the problem with reto is not fiding parts, its doing the jbweld to align those projectors in the end...(which is a pain).
eh? JB weld has to be the easiest thing in the world to work with. Mix two goops together in a disposable container... mix... use... set. Damn all that work!!!
