Brake Lights doesnt work

Hi all,

i noticed last week, when i press the brake pedal, the (left hand side) brake light turn on but the right hand side doesnt

also, when i switch the lights on, all the lights in the taillight turn on. but when i press the brake pedal it doesnt turn brighter. Why's this??

IN SUMMARY:

- light switch off, when press on the brake pedal, the rear (right hand side) brake light doesnt turn on
- light switch on, all taillights are working (including the rear right hand side) brake light. BUT when its doesnt go brighter when i press the brake pedal

is it a fuse??? or what??? Loose connection??? (ive checked and they're tight)

problem solved.

I hope you jsut replaced the light bulb on that side. THose are 1157 bulbs, at least that is the number here in the US. It is a dual filament bulb, one is for the parking/driving lights and the other is for the brake light.

Oh yeah forgot they went to the wedge based 3157 for Gen4's. oh well either way the idea is the same. IT is still a dual filament bulb.

Do you really think he wants to admit it was a bad element in a dual filiment bulb? (Not that we haven't all done similar things)

just the bulb. one of the filament was blown out
