I parked at a supermarket parking lot yesterday and when I came back I can't believe what I saw. A dent is on the rear side (opposite to gas cover)of my Camry. It's not too deep but it's really noticeable. I guess some sh*ta*s was having fun pushing the buggy and just wham... thought my Camry is a wall... Fortunately it didn't stripped off any paint and revealed bare metal. (phew) Well... I can't be blaming or whining now since it's already happened but what are the best way to get rid of the white mark first before heading to waxing? I heard of a product called "Ding King Dent Puller" sold at Canadian Tire. Has anyone use it before? Is it useful? Sorry if I post it at a wrong place. Help or advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

Ugh, I heard Ding King was horrible to use. Besides, I don't think it can do dents that small. I suggest just pulling the carpet from the inside of the trunk, the side carpet. You probably already know that it just pulls out. Just grab the top of the side piece roughly in the middle and yank down. Then I think it's all one panel to the outside, so providing the dent isn't under one of the reinforcements you should be able to mallet it out. Then, I don't know. Try polishing it out? No clue about the white mark... you can probably buff/polish it out. If you can't then you're probably looking at undercoating or something. I've really no clue as to the paint on the Camrys. Good luck.
a good mechanic is like a good bj giver- you always go the person that gave the service to you, and if they are not available - you just sit at home and fiddle with the problem yourself until a substandard result is met
Try some rubbing alcohol or toothpaste to remove the white mark, as for banging out the dent yourself - try to resist the temptation. The dent must be removed the way it went in - the outer edges first and the middle part last. If you go knocking it out the wrong way you will end up with a small bump-out surrounded by a circular recession. Paintless Dent Removal will be able to remove the dent completely, guaranteed. Call your local PDR guy and he'll come to your place and do it for you. HTH.
paint less dent removal, thats the way to go man not to expensive and they will come to your house and all. if you just want to try to remove the scratch try scratch x by meguires works real well.
So unless I am very concern about dent, I should just leave it out then since it seems very difficult to restore the dent without proper tools and technique?

If it does not bother you, I would leave it. Maybe consider paintless dent removal at a later time since, I think, most of them charge by the panel.
that sucks that makes me want to never park in a parking lot where there are irresponsible dumb people that won't leave you a note when they scratch or dent your car

I really agree with you but if they gonna leave a note sying they hit your car, what is the point of hitting it then?! Some people are just idiots!

try tapping it out from the inside the trunk. then wax/polish, should be good as new
Yea.. you can at least tap it out, so the paint doesn't conform to it and crack if you wait along time to pull it out. I had to do that because some asshat left a huge dent in the section where the jack is, so I got a blunt object and tapped it out.
