Goods: Chrome looks best on a dark vehicle; you can make your own color scheme*; it doesn't scream "arrest me" like yellow or red does; it makes a car appear more expensive than it really is; it always has a "wet" look to it as if you just washed it (unless it's dirty)
Cons: Black paint heats up quickly in the sun; you can see scratches and dirt more easily on a dark vehicle (try spending a winter with salt on the car); cars might have a harder time seeing you in low-light conditions (keep those headlights on!)
*If you like a color other than black, you can buy things of a different color and use it to give your car a two-tone color scheme. In my light-blue Hyundai before we gave it away, I bought a lot of blue things like a blue steering wheel cover, floor mats, cheap neon lighting for under the dashboard etc. My uncle owns a black Dodge Dakota and he has bought blue stuff for his vehicle as well, and it matches perfectly. I used the floor mats from the Hyundai and put them in the green Camry and, obviously, blue floor mats look terrible when put in a green car. It doesn't match. With black however, you can choose any color (and stick with it) and it'll almost always look good with black. I even have a green keychain to match the car when I have the keys in the ignition.

I'm thinking you should go white and then get some gold rims to make them stand out. And maybe get some black somewhere to give it that clean black and white look. I dunno I just rememberd my cousins new white accord and adding black accessories on it like his projectors, black grill, etc. and it looks really nice, but I don't know how it would really look on a Camry.

yea, i agree with Pt, pearl white would look awesome. hell, any pearlescent color would look great. I'd opt for a midnight blue pearl but you didnt list it as an option. black is great but too simple and A LOT of people have it so it's not as special. i say pearl white like the late 90's lincoln towncars. good luck!

but it also depends on how you're getting the paintjob and how thorough it's going to be
you have to remember that unless they take the panels off one by one and spray them, you'll have a differing color on the inside- not really noticeable with trim and carpet, but your engine bay's going to look a bit on the.....weird side.....

yea well the reason why i'm painting my entire car is because i'm doing a 4.5 front end conversion with the angel eye headlights. i've seen a Gen 4 camry in pearl white. looks kinda funny with dark tinted windows, which i have. i'm thing like M3 Peal white, metallic grey or black. generally something that shows it's not a stock colour but nice. plus i'm only painting the outside i doubt for $1,500 der going to take the body apart and spray it.
