hey guys, i was wondering, has anyone ever tried doing this for the gen 3 models?

That would be a very nice swap. In what version of the camry is that in?
Well, i'd have to swap it out of the XLE model (top of the line ) to my LE (the regular equipment model).

Direct? I highly doubt it. Like I said, the recirc/fresh air control is a mechanical lever on one and an electrical switch on the other. I bet you can get it to work, but it's not direct.

If you are able to do it, do a diy. My friend has an LE and it would be a fun project.(if it can be done without too much modification)
