3 inch piping?

i was wondering if on a trubo engine 3 inch exhasut piping fromt he cat bck is ok? all i kno wis it reduses alot o back presuer, and depenrding on who u ask, thats good or bad? what do u think? and to clear it up, what exaclty does the back pressure do?

It fixes your kickass spelling.

P.S. 3-inch piping should be fine, as long as you're running boost. Back pressure is a good and bad thing...it shoots the exhaust out of your engine...if the piping is too wide, the air won't get "pushed" as well. If it's too narrow, there won't be enough room to get it all out fast enough.

yeah, what warped said....usually 2.5 is the optimum, but if you're running boost, then 3 should do good
