4th Generation Top speed on V6 Auto Camry?? **WARNING 56K 1 BIG PIC**

What's the Top Speed on the V6 Automatic GEN 4 Camry?? is it 210kph? (130mph)

From what i heard from my friend, he said on a flat road, he could only do 210kph. on downhill slope he did 218kph then the engine cuts off when it reaches 5200rpm.

is there a way to remove the REV LIMITER ???

The picture below taken by "brownyy" in his GEN 4 V6 AUTO CAMRY ON THE TRACK **DO NOT TRY THIS ON THE ROAD**

127 for i4 135 for v6

apex rsm will cut out the governor.. but its there for your safetey.. btw your tires u got on your rims only go up to 120 before the warranty gives out.. so when they blow its your own stupid fault..

Z rated..... if you dare...

My '01 2.2 tops out at 96MPH and apparently the solution is to have the ECU reprogrammmed by a 'speed shop' or someone who really knows what they're doing.

4th Generation

i've got my 2000 v6 up to 135(manual), it was surprisingly smooth. i got my sisters 2001 v6 (auto) up to at least 130, dont remember exactly its been a while. im guessing that w/ no gov. mine should hit about 155 or 160 at redline.

The tires that Camrys usually come with, H rate, are rated only up to 130MPH/210KMPH so basically it's there probably for safety and liability reasons.

210km/h? on a V6? thats slow! and how come the speedo have only 220kph
on it? here they go to 260km/h (162mph) a 3gen V6 did 245km/h on the
a 4km long flat straight where i live. Forgot to mention that it was a manual tranny V6
my gen2 3sfe managed 210km/h on the same straight with only 130hp!.

I hit 135 on my V6 Gen 3 Auto...... I did not feel the speed limiter kick in.
Anyway... that is what I did.
