4th Generation New User Needs Forum Info

Hello All,

Thanks for reading this post. I'm a new user. I've driven Camrys since '85. My '85 had 195K miles on it when we sold it and my '99 currently has 80K miles. Both Camrys were nice, reliable cars.

I've kept my Camry stock and do all of my own work. I'm looking for a forum that has a lot of information about maintenance and upkeep of the car. Although I'm a purely self-taught mechanic, I feel as if I have a lot to contribute to technical discussions.

QUESTION: Which Camry forum is best for the home mechanic?

Thank you, and y'all drive safe!

This is pretty much the only camry forum........

I'd say 60-70% of the members here own camrys.

If you have any questions, just ask em. I'm sure some of the more knowledgeable members here could take their cars apart and put it back together properly if given enough time. And If anything a lot of us have the Haynes/Chiltons Manual to reference to if you have any Questions.. welcome

they have www.camcrew.com.au but thats more of a friendly show me what you have type deal. this forum is about mechanics mostly and its wehere i learned most of what i know.

also, you have a 5sfe, www.mr2oc.com uses the same engine so some info could be useful. also www.celicatech.com once again same NA engine. but those 2 sites are GREAT for turbo'ing

4th Generation

I appreciate the responses. As I have five different vehicles, I would like to monitor just one forum per vehicle.

This sounds like a good place for this grease-monkey to hang out!

Thanks!
