3rd Generation PWR button issue???

I have a 94 with the 4cyl. I just noticed that the PWR button won't register in the dash anymore. I can press the button in and hold it, and the light shows up in the dash. If I let it go, and goes back to the "on" position, but the light goes out in the dash.

Has anyone experienced this? Is this a problem I need to address with a shop?

3rd Generation

I guess he means the ECT button or overdrive buttons on the shifter.

If its the ECT button, it shouldn't be that hard to take off the shifter face plate and pop open the ECT button. Might be a loose cable or just plain dirty button.

As for Overdrive button on shifter. I never had a problem with that, so I am not sure.
