Sounds like a good idea... don't know if it'd work though.

If a turbo is that cheap and it really works, I wonder why manufacturers don't use this on their cars already.

This is nothing more than a fancy electric fan in front of your TB. It creates extra turbulence and it does not compress air. :

That's the most bullshit I've ever read in the last few months. I was pissed just reading it...he'd make a pretty good salesman or politician...he's starts off getting your trust and then just start lying and lying....

Quote:
Dont even try to read what the other auctions are for. Their specs are way off. They are claiming they blow twice as much as they really do. These actually blow 240 cfm. Thats still good because your engine doesnt suck that hard. So if you hook one of these babys up to your intake, then you get a large amount of air flowing.
I like how he's honest here...building up your trust.

Quote:
What I have done is hooked many of these together. If you think, that give you a very very large amount of air into your engine. Everytime I turn mine on, it feels like I have a 75 shot of NOS hooked up to my engine.
What does 75 shot of NOS really, really feel like?

Quote:
So if you break down the cfm and compression, from the two tube on the left, 480cfm and 480 cfm on the right. Then that merges into on pipe, giving 960 cfm.
Bullshit. The fan makes 240 CFM...because he has four pipes connected to it, he quadruples the air flow??? What if you hook up 100 pipes, does he get 2400 CFM? This is worse that those ads for hyperwhite bulbs....65 watts = 110 watts!

Quote:
And then you factor in that the tubes are merging and the 4" conversion to 3" conversion gives you about 3-4 PSI at least and from the down size you get over 1000 cfm.
3-4 PSI??? Holy crap, narrowing the pipe gives you 3-4 psi?? What if I go down to 2", will I get up to 5 PSI? No need for a supercharger....

Quote:
And not to mention the even more air that is being pushed through when you are going about 60 or 70 or 80 or 90. There is a lot of air going into the engine.
Ram air doesn't really have an effect until you hit like 140mph, and it'll only add like .5 hp.

Quote:
Believe me since these specs and numbers are true. The other auctions claim that theirs flows at 450 cfm. There are no compact blowers anywhere that will blow that much.
E-ram is probably the best e-supercharger out there, and they only claim 1 PSI max, if you're lucky. And it does create more than 450 cfm....

Quote:
When I tested these, it was about 80 degrees out and the air coming out the other end was a guesstimated 40 to 50 degrees. Now that is an awesome change in temperature.
Sure...whatever...40 degree change in temp from a small fan! Who needs A/C if you have this...

Quote:
All the extra parts needed to put up a system like mine you can get at home depot. My whole system cost me 75 dollars for each turbo blower and about 30 for all hardware(tubes and adapters) to complete the system. Dont knock this until you try it. I have had people email me some nasty things only because they dont believe these work. I say dont be mean to me. I am just trying to help people make their cars and trucks faster. Because like I said, when I turn mine on, it feels like a 75 shot of nitrous oxide.
Once again, proving himself to be a

i heard one civic had that thing.....it actually works
but....he used a CPU fan instead...and it breaks really frequently.
it helps when its low RPM but doesn't do anything when its in highway...
all i know is that it'll boost you when yoú're on first and second gear.

Axial flow fans do not provide a lot of pressure. 50mmWG at most for an industrial size axial fan (~0.7 psig). 3~4 psig is a bunch of balony.

Aye, not to mention the electric supercharger only works at full throttle. The reason being is that the electric fan motor generates too much heat. And like Henry said, it only pushes about 1psi max, if even that. (more like .9psi)

I dont think stacking two of those together will increase the airflow by two. And 900 somehting CFM like this guy is claiming is BS.
It take a hell of a huge fan to move that much air.
