I was thinking about that too but i have been told that the dye will eventually fade and rub off on clothes.

wouldn't suggest dye. reupholster is what most people do... with either vinyl or leather. expect to pay around at least $150 - $200 CAD for a single seat... more for the rear bench.

I'm getting my back back seats along with the door panels upholsterd in black/grey leather for about 550-650. I haven't gotten the final quote on it yet. I'll post some pics when its finished at the end of the month.

IMO if you are going to start messing with different colors in you seats and such..i would not go cheap..get someone professioanlly to do it..or even if you happen to know a seamstress you could ask them to do something that you had in mine...if you go cheap. You will regret it

Or get your mom to do it for free. Vinyl is not that hard once you get the hand of it. go to a nearby fabric store and ask for the thinnest vinyl they have. Get some weird shaped object and learn to work with the vinyl glue, vinyl and heat gun. I was lucky that I had some experience under my belt from building my enclosure. but that was easy.
